Belly Up Tavern
Belly Up wins because it solves the whole concert night, not because it is famous. The room is close, the calendar moves across genres, and recent reviewers repeatedly praise the sound, staff, and chance to see established artists at club distance. The tradeoff is mostly on the floor: standing-room sightlines compress when a show sells hard, seats are limited, and the best position rewards an early arrival. The nearby Coaster and an in-person box office make the logistics unusually humane.
