The short version: we collect as little as possible.

What we collect

If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your email address and the page where you signed up. We use that information only to manage your subscription, understand which signup placements are useful, and send The Shortlist once it launches. Every issue will include an immediate unsubscribe link.

Service providers

Resend processes and stores newsletter subscriptions on our behalf. Vercel hosts the site, provides aggregate analytics, and helps screen signup forms for automated abuse. These providers process data only to operate and protect the site; we don’t sell your information.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which pages people read and which signup placements work. We don’t use that information to build advertising profiles.

Cookies

The site works without tracking cookies. Any cookies present are strictly functional.
