The 6 Best Restaurants in Barrio Logan, Ranked

14Barrio Logan is San Diego's Chicano cultural heart — a working waterfront neighborhood where the country's largest collection of outdoor Chicano murals covers the Coronado Bridge pylons at Chicano Park. Las Cuatro Milpas, rolling tortillas since 1933, is back as of May 2026 in Mercado del Barrio, a few blocks from its old home. Come on a second Saturday, when the art crawl opens every gallery and studio along Logan Avenue. And remember people live and work here — it's a neighborhood, not an attraction.
