TICKETS
Both Parks Charge Exactly the Same Price
Price cannot choose between these two San Diego icons because the regular tickets match exactly: $78 for an adult age 12 and up and $68 for a child age 3 to 11. Value-day prices align too, at $73 and $63. The difference begins once you walk through the gate. San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance says Zoo admission includes the Guided Bus Tour and Skyfari Aerial Tram, while Safari Park admission includes the Africa Tram through the savanna. Forget the idea that one is the budget version. Picture your group on a classic Zoo day, then picture everybody looking across the Safari Park's open ground. Whichever scene sparks the louder reaction is the experience worth booking. Let excitement, not four columns of ticket math, break the tie.
Parking costs extra at both parks, and adult pricing begins at 12 while child pricing covers ages 3 through 11.
