SDSU Mission Valley River Park
Mission Valley finally has a public place that explains the valley instead of hiding it behind a parking lot. The 34-acre river park links a two-mile walking and cycling loop with Kumeyaay art and interpretation, playgrounds, courts, fitness equipment, a dog park, picnic space, and broad fields. That range beats every single-purpose stop below it. The floodplain is part of the design, not scenery pasted around it, so storm conditions and large permitted events remain real access variables.
